Graduation from Pre-K Layout by Judy Stark

Graduation from Pre-K Layout -  by Judy Tesla Stark

Graduation time is upon us!  Cash is officially a "Little Man" now as he leaves Pre-K to enter Kindergarten next year. So congratulations and Grandma actually got your special page done in time!
After selecting my colors and papers for this layout, I cut the frames. The fun begins!

I really enjoy coloring stamps to use for my projects!  This is one of the newly released LaLaLand stamps Graduation Luka.

I then cut my Bookworm file and the clipboard using my Gazelle.

Files : Book Worm by Olivia Myers  and  Clip Board by Olivia Myers  .  I used the clipboard pattern for my largest frame.
After placing and assembling my pieces, I added ribbon for the trim.

HIP KID Layout by Judy Stark

Time for me to catch up with my monthly layouts and am I ever behind!

I started with cutting my mats for my layout using my Bosskut Gazelle.  I then used the text feature and added a star between my words and welded these together.  I cut my title and now ready to put the layout together.  I used and colored a freebee digital stamp offered by Anne F. a few months ago on the "Outlawz Group" and a LaLaland Cowboy Luka stamp.  I then added ribbon, my grandson's name, the date and I am done!  A basic layout I am sure my grandson will enjoy sharing with his children one day.

Mother's Day Step Card by Judy Stark

Every Mother's Day my daughter Tara always gives me a special plaque or book about Mothers. I have saved all of them through the years and love to get out the box and read over again.  This year I decided to use one of the pages and recycle to her.
I used a basic step card pattern which you can find on the internet and added the MOM to the front. It's very easy to do this in your Funtime program!  I used the text feature, break by character to separate the letters individually, click convert text to path and then used the cut path feature (Scissors) on the bottom of the letters.  Then you just move the word and lay on top of the kiss cut line and they will pop up on your card.

I used 85 wgt cardstock using 1 pass, 12 K/O, force 2 and speed 3.  I then cut my background frames, sizing those in Funtime.  I glued the background frames after chalking the outside.  I then chalk the quote and attached it to the front of my card.

I used the newly released Ruffles Butterfly design. All of our designs are created for computerized digital cutters. The digital downloads contain all of the following formats: AI, WPC, GSD, Vector PDF and a jpg for reference.
The flower is also a newly released design "Parker PK Flower."   Remember, all of the Popcuts are one cut designs!  If you haven't cut any of these before, try them.  To finish my card, I added a sticker (Mom & Me) some faux stick on pearls and ribbon.  Enjoy!

Butterfly Doily Card by Judy S

Time to make some extra cards to keep on hand.  I like to make a few for last minute "I need a card" celebrations or events. Using doily designs are very popular now with card makers and so convenient to put a card together quickly. Make a few, put away until needed and stamp, write or use the fabulous pen feature on your Bosskut Gazelle to write the sentiment inside.

For this card, I used the Butterfly Doily and Popcut Ruffles Butterfly
I cut the doily, butterflies, mat and card. I used the heavy weight Bazzil cardstock for everything except the doily.
After gluing the diecuts to my card , I then added a few rhinestones, pearls and added a ribbon. Done!!

Easter 2012 Layout by Judy S.

Don't you love working with the new color combinations for Spring this year? So many new papers with quite interesting colors!  I am a firm believer in buying Designer Pads and not having to second guess if colors go together.

The doily's are a newly released file: Tulips Doily . I cut 3 of thesesizing them to 4 inches each.  Since these have a lot of details, I cut on a 1 speed and 2 force with K/O at 12.  If your mat isn't very sticky, use 2 passes.

I then cut the newly released Popcut Bunny Egg using the same settings as above. I used the Card Band Lace for a border and added a few Popcut Butterflies.

I then cut out the title using one of my Funtime software fonts.  I designed this special flower and named it "Parker" after my great-granddaughter.

Thank you for looking!

Easter Mini Album by Judy Stark

EASTER MINI ALBUM

I like to make myself a separate book throughout the year for special occasions and holidays.  It's fun to bring out all of the previous Easter books and everyone see how much they have grown!
I also make these for my daughter's to put their special pictures into.  This books' base completed size is
5" by 7" and you can easily add more pages if needed.

For the bottom of the front page, I used the newly released scallop card border and Tulips by Oliver Myers .  For my title, I used a font in our Funtime, used the outline feature and cut with my Gazelle. Anytime you are using a font that is too skinny, you can also click the outline feature button and substitute the outline.

I used the basket from the Bosskut file: Easter Basket, Bunny and Eggs.  I cut the eggs and decorated and hide them in the Popkut grass. To make the front page of my mini album, I used the BK silhouette bunny by Karen Taglia and adjusted the size accordingly to appear the bunny is sitting on top of my egg basket.

Easter Bags

With Easter being next month, I thought I best get busy making bags for my family.  I usually fill these with Easter grass, then add a few plastic eggs and the candy. These are also great for gift giving!

I  cut my bag pattern and extended the size to cut 12" by 12".  The finished bag size ends up being 7 inches tall by 4 inches wide. I then measured and cut the newly released Tulip Doily, Popcut Border grass and Froggie the PK Frog. I then used my Bosskut Gazelle pen feature and wrote the title on the egg.  I cut and hid some eggs in the grass and done!  Very easy and quick project to do.

I made this bag the same as above but used the newly released Heart Swirls Frame, PopKut Border Grass and the Bosskut BunnySilhouette by Karen Taglia.
I again used the pen feature and use my glue pen and then added glitter to my title.

Valentine Bag for a Boy

Valentine's Day is coming soon and I am making some bags for my grandchildren to take to school.  This is a very easy and fast project that is sure to put a smile on your grandchildren's faces!  I started with a premade bag I bought at my LSS.  I cut with my Gazelle, a bottom border, hearts and the newly released   Popcut Love Bugs.  Below is a close-up of my bag.

Perfect for the "little men" in your lives!  Now I need to make some for the girls, with a lot of glitter and glitz!

Made With Love Card by Judy Stark

I said I was not making anymore Valentines but.... they are so much fun to make!  Valentines Day was my Father's birthday,so the day is more than Valentines Day to me.
I colored this rose digital stamp last month and was very pleased with the outcome.  I don't remember where I bought this digi but please let me know and I will certainly give proper credit to the artist. I decided to make a print n cut design with it. (saves me from coloring again)  Below is the rose and the soon to be released design I made.  I placed everything down as I wanted it but DID NOT glue together. The reason? I wanted to capture the shadows to make my product look more realistic and dimensions.

I then scanned my items into my Funtime program that I use with my Gazelle cutter.  I used my magic wand to outline and saved as a jpg.  I printed this out and then cut with my Gazelle's PrintnCut feature.  I also cut a side step card and Marci with hearts digital stamp from LaLaLand Crafts. I cut a heart and taped down my print n cut onto it. Colored my Marci stamp and added a few pearls. My card is done!
