Which was first, the Chicken or the Egg?

Which was first, the Chicken or the Egg?    The Egg?

Always was my answer with the infamous question!  Mind you, I always back my answer with a.... do I really care? "

I do know however, this Chicken was so fun to make and even though a little high-priced to me, well worth it when finished. File can be purchased at: http://www.sunshine-hobby-works.at/49219/huhn-ei
For the record, there are no directions included but easy to piece it together correctly.  Just stare down the picture!

This Chicken Egg is about 5-6 inches tall and very sturdy when finished.  I am setting my Chicken on my kitchen window and putting fresh potpourri inside.

Thank You for stopping my Blog and have a great weekend!

ScrapCuts By Judy Mother's Day Ideas

                                                          Garden Party Box by Svgcuts

Mother's Day in 16 days and as usual, I am running behind.  Lucky for me, Svgcuts.com just released a few days ago, "Garden Party Box Cards."  The birdhouse folds into an envelope so nicely and anyone you send this to, will love it.   Again, the hardest part was choosing which paper to use for the project.  I am using Graphic 45.   Below is the side and back of card.

Also in this set, is the Adirondack chair.  It also folds into envelope for mailing.  So cute and finished within minutes,

Have a great weekend and thank you for stopping by my Blog.  Checkout my storefront on Etsy!

Firemen and Police Gift Boxes and Thank-You Cards

Perfect projects for a not so perfect week!

The weather last week was picture perfect Florida sunshine for Easter and Spring breaks from schools.  We were in the high 80's many days and no rain.  Then it happened, a 350 +acre fire practically in my daughters back yard!!   5 long days it took to stop this fire and without any injuries.  Below are a few pictures of the fire taken by my daughter.

The fire came as close as 20 ft to her neighbors house and pictures above are the front of the path.  You are probably wondering where I am going with this & scrap-booking?   Momentum!!  My daughter Fonda and her family were safe.  Their home a little odor of smoke but no damage.  And......  drum roll please,,,,  3d Dreaming Tree came out with a new kit Easter weekend called, " First Responders SVG Bundle !"  I haven't made the nurse kit yet, but this bundle is one of my favorites now.   My daughter is going to fill the gift boxes with treats of some sort and deliver to the hard-working Firemen & Police.   Kit level was easy-medium and you will love the outcome.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and have a great week.

ScrapCuts by Judy - Goodbye March and Hello April

Umbrella Bag file by SVGCUTS

Time to get those Easter crafts started!  I loved making the newly released Umbrella Bag by svgcuts.  Very quick and easy to make.  The back of the design is a straight half of the umbrella, which is great to use as a centerpiece.  This keeps it from rolling over etc.

Looking at the basket/bag above, the white oval is where you can write/stamp a personal message.  I used 3  12x12 papers and each bag took around 20 minutes.  The hardest thing for me, is choosing which paper to use.

TIP:   Save your scraps of papers!  I put mine in a plastic container marked Spring/Easter and next year, hopefully will use them.

ScrapCutsByJudy Store for digital cutting files

Hopping on the Bunny Trail

I hope everyone had a good Valentines Day.  It seems like the holidays are flying by or is it I am slowing down?

Please be advised the "ScrapCutsbyJudy" Etsy store is my primary selling storefront and effective March 01, 2017, the only place to purchase my files.  It is on this website ONLY, I will be offering new files and any assistance.  Check my store regularly as I will be adding more svg files.

Bosskut has now closed it SCRAP SUPPLY doors.  I bought my Bosskut Gazelle 8-9 years ago and for 2 weeks, never plugged it in.  I just stared at it!!  After those two weeks though, I cut away and never looked back.  I learned so much from using this machine and Funtime software.   The owners and staff at this company were A++++ and I hope they enjoy their retirement years.

If you are wondering which machine I would recommend , it is bar none, the SILVER BULLET for serious crafters and businesses.  I own 6 different electronic cutting machines and my Silver Bullet is my favorite.  Yes, the machine is expensive compared to buying a $300- $350 machine BUT, I own 4 of one brand alone and still don't have the quality or performance of my Silver Bullet!  Think about this..  None of those four machines have the metal construction, the speed or the cutting depth and accuracy.  OR CAN CUT 18 inches!!!  The owner and staff are hands on and AAAAA+++.   And buying those 4 lesser priced machines, ended up costing more than 1 Silver Bullet.

Have a great weekend and Please remember to go to my Etsy Storefront.  Click the store link on the right of my page.  Thank you.

Easter Box Cards

                                       Easter Box Cards

I know, it is Valentine's Day in 2 more days, but I couldn't resist making this set of cards immediately!  Happy Valentines Day.

This set of cards was designed by and available at Svgcuts.com.  5 different types of cards.  Way to much fun to make these. :)

The above bunny file is the box card file in the kit.  I decided to make it and use it a top for a candy box.  I made a 2.5 " by 4" rectangular box, decorated it and set the box card on top.  All I need are my jelly beans!

Below are rest of the cards and some of these were really easy and completed individually, within 30 minutes.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and have a great week.
