Smiles Layout

Time for another monthly page for my annual scrapbook!  I had full intention of calling this layout "Swinging" but the smiles on my grandchildren's faces made the title.  So thank you Sammi, Richard,Cash and Presley for smiling!
I cut my title, frames, mats, lattice PopKut flower, swing with branch and squirrel with my Gazelle.  The PopKut Lattice flower and Swing with branch will be released very soon.
Check http://www.bosskutdiecuts.com/ under new releases.

The stamp I colored is by Magnolia Stamps, "Tilda"  Dressed Up.  BossKut is now selling stamps and Copic markers.  http://www.bosskut.com/

PopKut Heart Butterfly Card

I designed this with thoughts of needing something fast in mind. This design features the PopKut Heart Butterfly, lattice and lace trim ALL IN ONE. This card takes under 15 minutes to complete.

I started by cutting this with my Gazelle, using 2 force, 2 speed and 12 knife offset. I generally use these settings when cutting detail : including PopKuts.

I added the pearls, highlighted the butterfly with my Copics and stamped the sentiment. I then used my glue pen on the sentiment and added a small amount of glitter. Done!

This card pattern is available for purchase at

http://www.bosskutdiecuts.com/newreleases.aspx

You also buy the individual heart butterflies here also.

Have a great week and thank you for stopping by our blog.

Life is a Journey Center Step Card

Hello everyone!

Today I made this center step card with one of the newly released Magnolia stamps ,"Tilda with Butterfly Jeans." The Heart butterfly and heart frame is a sneak peek at new releases.

This card was very easy to make!  The center step card pattern is available on various sites if you don't have this yet.  I stamped my Tilda and then colored her with Copic markers. I then cut around her.  I cut my lace trim, card pattern, butterfly, frames and center piece with my Gazelle.  I stamped my center card background and proceeded to glue everything to my card.  Done!  That easy!

I am making a box of assorted greeting cards as a birthday gift for a dear Aunt and made a basic hello card.  The flower is a Lattice PopKut flower
I made a shadow box card for my flower to be placed onto. Cut the hello, tied a bow and done. Easy card to make!

Cash's First Hospital Visit - Layout

Poor little Cash had a collision with his older brother Tyler Saturday night. (Rough housing) His first hospital visit was to follow! Mom and Dad were in panic mode and Cash calmed them down by telling them he was a big boy and not to worry. Awww, got to love that!
I usually make a page for the annual family book when a "first" happens.  I apologize for the photo's not being clear but they were taken on a cell phone.
A close up of Cash and the bear. Notice bear peeker has bandage too!

 Happy Scrapping!

Wedding Album

I made this as a wedding gift but you can also make this for the holidays. To make the flower, you will need vellum paper, white marking pen (my favorite is Uniball Signo UM-153) and rhinestones.  This journal can be finished within an hour!

Basic Instructions for Gazelle: You will use your embossing blade and mat. Convert your WPC file by using the ENGRAVING feature. This will give you the lines for embossing. I used Island for this one. We have Engraving/Embossing tutorials on BK forum. I used a force of 3 and 2 passes. Vellum will rip if too much force is used. Be sure your mat is sticky! You can hand cut these (outline line) or use your Gazelle.

After removing from mat, take your white outline pen and just follow the embossing lines on THE BACK of motif. After the white (or any color) dries, it's time for the rhinestones. I used a wand/iron and individually set mine. Add ribbon and stem.

Sweet Summer Layout

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July last week.  I had a great time with my family and hope all of you did also.  Today I made a summer page for my annual book. I try to make a layout or 2 at least monthly. By January, I have an annual Family book finished! So much easier than doing it all at one time.
With this page, I wanted to use bright summer colors, stamps, die cuts and some of those stickers I bought hundreds of when I first started scrapbooking. Just because you have an electronic or manual cutter; it doesn't mean you can't combine techniques.
.
I cut my frames, table, tablecloth, chair and umbrella with my Gazelle. They are die cut patterns I designed. I then did a print n cut with my Gazelle and added the frog. The little girl stamp is made by Magnolia Stamps. With the Funtime program that comes with my Gazelle, you can easily stamp an image, then import into the art board of Funtime and do a print n cut.  I then colored with my Copic markers. I like using this feature in Funtime as I can enlarge or make my stamps smaller as needed.
Closeup below:

After I glued the cuts, I applied the food stickers on the table. They are dimensional and didn't take away from my layout by using them.  So go through your older things and use them!
I have a lot of BoBunny stickers and used them for the title and subtitles. Fast and Easy!

Have a good week and thank you for stopping by my blog!

Get Well Card for Presley

Meet my grand-daughter "Presley".  She is 27 months old now and such a blessing! When you meet Pres, the odds are,she will flash the biggest grin and give you the hug of your life.  Below is Presley
Presley had to go to the Hospital a few days ago and I wanted to make her a special card. Stamp is a LaLa Land stamp, which Bosskut will have available for sale soon. Doesn't the girl on the card look like Presley...well, in a little way? :)
Just in case you haven't heard or read, http://www.bosskut.com/ now offers stamps,SketchKuts and Copic markers for purchase.  New files to be released soon!

Cards Made and "Brother Layout."

What a busy month May has been!  At last today, I had time to color, cut and be creative...
I like to stamp my stamps using the Memento brand Tuxedo Black inkpad. There are a lot of tutorials online to learn the Copic techniques and many professionals offer classes.
Today while coloring, I thought about my brother Bobby and how we use to draw and color all the time. So, I quit coloring and decided to add another page to my Family album. I try to make at least one page a month of what I call the "Oldies" so hopefully this is will stay in our Family?

I

This is a Birthday Card I colored using a Digital Stamp.

This is a card made using a SaraKay Stamp.

    .

Another SaraKay stamp. I made this for our Aunt Carol who bakes for us on a regular basis and will use this for a note card.

Thank you for looking at my Blog and have a safe "Memorial Day Weekend"!!

Petal Power Layout

Petal Power

It’s that time of year again to think “Flowers”.

The flower pattern is the newly released, Spider Daisy and Scroll and the item number: BKD007. To make the largest flower, I cut extra petals reducing each one in size.
